Sponsor a Grandma or Grandpa!

Help an abuelo or abuela (grandpa or grandma) from our community manage their diabetes!

Participants who are sponsored in this program receive primary and diabetes medication, emotional support groups, food vouchers, exercise classes, and cooking classes to support a holistic approach to diabetes treatment and management.

Sponsor a Mom and Baby!

Follow a new mother and her baby on their health journey from pregnancy all the way until the child is 2 years old! Moms who are sponsored in this program receive primary and prenatal care, vitamins and supplements, periodic height and weight checks, emotional support groups, food vouchers, early childhood enrichment classes, and more!

Sponsor a Scholarship Student!

Help a student reach their full potential! Students sponsored in this program are promising young individuals from San Pablo whose families cannot cover the cost of their education. Students receive support to cover tuition, books and supplies, supplemental tutoring, sexual health education, and access to primary and dental care offered in our two clinics!

 

What will you gain from your sponsorship?

  • Receive bi-annual email updates with photos and updates of the participant you are sponsoring. This is a 1-to-1 sponsorship, meaning that you will be assigned one participant who your donations will directly support through the duration of their participation in the program.

  • Tax breaks. As a US 501(c)(3), your donations are tax-deductible.

  • Giving back is good for you! A little bit goes a long way in Guatemala. Our sponsors get special gratification in knowing that every month, they are making a difference in an individual’s life.

We offer flexible payment options, at the monthly, quarterly, or annual levels. To donate at the monthly level, go to our donation page, enter the amount corresponding to the program you are sponsoring ($35, $55, or $95), and select to apply your donation to Sponsor a Mom and Baby (C2), Sponsor a Grandma/Grandpa (D2) or Sponsor a Scholarship Student (E2). You can pause your donation at any time.
